Thinking through property
Sunday, May 23rd, 2010Congregations and agencies faced with difficult property decisions now have a further resource to aid their deliberations.
The property and insurance unit of the UCA Synod of Victoria and Tasmania launched today at the Synod meeting the booklet ‘Thinking Through a Theology of Property’.
The booklet presents the views on thorny property issues expressed by congregation members across the Synod, from large cities, smaller towns and rural communities.
This follows the provocative booklet ‘A Theology of Property’ launched at the Synod meeting in 2008. That document presented a theological framework and questions for church members to ponder. (more…)
